Update: In response to Scout and Nimbles comment below. This entire experience has been second rate. Clearly carrying the cushions by themselves takes too much time. Instead they preferred to slam half the sectional into my door frame a few times, scuff my floors dragging the pieces around, and run their nails through the soft leather cushion defacing them. When the truck arrived with the pieces prior to even opening the boxes I asked them to verify the pieces were correct. Which is blatantly untrue as I verified this myself with Berhardt prior to ordering. I call in to inform them they delivered two left pieces, only to be told "Berhardt doesn't make a right piece" to the sectional. Waited two months, just to receive two left pieces to the sectional. Verified numerous times the correct pieces were ordered. Ordered a $5000 Bernhardt sectional couch with Scout and Nimble with the aid of their customer service. Per Bernhardt corporate Scout and Nimble ordered the wrong piece for the couch. Furthermore, this situation is still unresolved after being informed they found me a replacement couch nearly two months ago. Nor has there been any "compensatory actions" - The delivery company that brought the wrong pieces did over a thousand dollars worth of damage to my door, door frame (the door frame was hit so hard with the couch legs that it needs replacement now) and floors. Metro (the delivery) company stopped responding after I sent them the estimates for the repairs.

I can't say enough good things about my first experience working with Scout & Nimble! At a time when everyone is overloaded and backordered and overworked, S & N was a true standout in showing how much communication is key. We had a house under construction when COVID hit and have experienced every furniture delay and frustration there is out there right now. My desk took awhile to arrive- as was very clearly communicated to me when I ordered it- but as the date neared and I was checking on the shipping status, Diana Harris was an absolute angel to work with. She was professional, communicative, timely in her responses! Her easy communication meant my anxiety over the delivery was nonexistent and, after years of dealing with this, I truly could not be more grateful. In fact, my experience was SO positive that I reached out to Diana and asked her to let me know who I could tell about this- because it is that rare! Thank you again!! This was my first order from Scout and Nimble and I am already looking forward to ordering more from them based on this experience. I received my items quickly and they were as described on the website. Ultimately, though, they didn't fit the design for my project.

I first had to call to inquire about how to make a return because there were limited details on their site. The associate I spoke to said she would first have to check to see whether the items could be returned as many could not (?).

Luckiily mine could however, the associate then told I would need to email their customer support (she couldn't start the process over the phone.) Then she shared that I could receive a full refund if I wanted it in the form of store credit, but if I wasn't interested in store credit, I would have to pay shipping (both their cost and my cost to ship back which amounted to over $100 for two small pendant lights) for the items. When I shared this felt like a lot of hoops to jump through, the associate interrupted me and told me all of this was in writing in their policies. I'll be shopping elsewhere in the future. Two items for my office were damaged during shipping, and both are now back ordered until next year, as is pretty common during this time.
